My story

Having just completed my Architectural studies in Johannesburg - South Africa, I was keen to get out there in the world of design & architecture. Joining a team of young and vibrant architects in the early 90's in a changing city was my ultimate buzz. I was thrown into the deep end most of the time but gained much confidence and experience both as a young designer and as a person. I was to remain in Johannesburg, the city in which I was born for only two years more before spreading my wings to Europe.

Arriving in the Algarve in the late 90's, a time where growth was on the rise in terms of development, I was soon engulfed by the energy and eagerness to learn another language and more so different design and building techniques. Before I knew it, I was involved in interior design and fine finishes, learning the precision of German technology, finesse of Italian design and craftsmanship of our local Portuguese tradesman. This is where I would lay my hat and still am today, with a beautiful family and still doing what I love. Liza Nunes
